Eduksh ("we", "us") provides a cloud learning platform for schools and coaching institutes. Each school is a separate organisation on the platform; data from one school is not available to another.
Who this applies to
Students, teachers, school administrators, and authorised staff. Parents typically receive updates through channels configured by the school (such as WhatsApp), not through a separate parent account unless the school enables that.
Information we collect
- Identity and role: name, email, batch, and school affiliation
- Learning activity: progress, quiz and test results, and in-app interactions
- Contact details the school provides, such as a parent phone number for notifications
- Technical data needed for security, such as session and device information
How we use information
- Provide tutoring, assessments, reports, and staff dashboards
- Send notifications when enabled and approved by the school
- Maintain platform security and prevent misuse
- Support schools with onboarding, billing, and service requests
AI features
Some features use third-party AI services to generate educational content and responses. Processing is handled on our servers; schools should treat AI output as learning support, not the sole basis for high-stakes decisions.
Data sharing
We use hosting, database, messaging, and AI providers under appropriate agreements. We do not sell student lists to advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users.
Retention and deletion
Schools may request export or deletion of records through their administrator or by contacting us. When a school ends its subscription, data is handled as agreed in the contract with that school.
Children
Schools are responsible for obtaining any consent required from parents or guardians. Access and correction requests should be routed through the school where possible.
