Security
Eduksh is built for schools that handle sensitive student information. This page summarises our approach. A detailed security overview is available to schools during evaluation.
Infrastructure
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all web traffic
- Cloud hosting with separated production environments
- Database access controls so each school's data stays isolated
Application security
- Secure sign-in with role-based access for students, staff, and administrators
- Business rules and scoring run on the server, not in the browser
- Sensitive credentials and integration keys are stored server-side only
- Protection of sensitive contact fields where applicable
- Options to limit concurrent student sessions where schools require it
Assessments and AI
- Answer keys are not exposed to students before authorised submission
- Content safety measures on student-facing AI features
- Staff review workflows for AI-assisted content where the product provides them
Parent messaging
Where WhatsApp is enabled, messages are sent through approved business messaging channels. Schools control what categories of messages are sent to parents.
